The Chairman and ICT directors of the electoral commission from more than 30 countries present a keynote speech on the current electoral situation and the application of new technologies, and discuss in groups.
Speech and discuss the content of inclusion in the field of biometric voter registration and accreditation, electronic verification and authentication of voters, issuance of smart voter card, as well as in the use of Geographic Information Systems for delineation of voting boundaries and geo-referencing of existing and/or newly created polling stations, establishment of sophisticated databases of register of voters and development of electronic voting machines and mobile applications for the electronic collation and transmission of election results.
